Sizing Guide
A perfect fit is the key to a natural, comfortable hair system. Follow our step-by-step guide to find your ideal size.
How to Measure
Gather Your Materials
You'll need a flexible measuring tape (or a piece of string and a ruler), a pen, cling wrap, and a marker. Have someone help you for the most accurate results.
Create a Template
Place cling wrap over the area of hair loss and trace the outline with a marker. This creates a template of the exact area that needs coverage. Press firmly so the outline is clear.
Measure Front to Back
Using your measuring tape, measure from the front edge of the area (where you want your hairline to start) to the back edge. Record this measurement in centimetres.
Measure Side to Side
Measure the widest point from left to right across the area. If the area isn't perfectly oval, take measurements at multiple points and note them all.
Choose Your Base Size
Compare your measurements to our standard base sizes below. If you fall between sizes, we recommend going slightly larger. Your stylist can always trim the base for a perfect fit.
Standard Sizes
| Size | Dimensions (inches) | Dimensions (cm) | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 6" × 7" | 15 × 18 cm | Receding hairline or small crown area |
| Medium | 7" × 9" | 18 × 23 cm | Moderate thinning across the top |
| Large | 8" × 10" | 20 × 25 cm | Extensive thinning or larger coverage area |
| X-Large | 9" × 11" | 23 × 28 cm | Full top coverage needed |
| Custom | Your exact measurements | Made to order | Unique shape or between standard sizes |
Pro Tips
Measure Twice
Always double-check your measurements. It's worth taking a few extra minutes to ensure accuracy.
Get Help
Having someone else help you measure, especially the back, dramatically improves accuracy.
Consider Your Hairline
Think about where you want your hairline to sit. A slightly higher hairline often looks more natural as you age.
When in Doubt, Go Custom
If your measurements fall between sizes or you have an unusual shape, a custom system ensures the best fit.
